Thanks :) Not very much saggy skin luckily. Bit on the tops of my legs and tops of arms but they're still bearable. Tummy is a bit wrinkly (especially if I lean over...urgh) but nothing 'hangs' as such. I think I had my op at the right time. Only just 30 then and no babies so my skin was...
Thanks for the lovely comments everyone. It's not been an easy ride but it's great to see good results in the end (end?? haha!!).
To all the post-oppers: Thanks for all your encouragement along the way - it was and still is so important to me.
To all the pre-oppers: Keep strong and keep...
Hi all,
Just thought I'd log in, see what's been going on and update my details whilst i'm here. I haven't been on for a while so a lot of catching up to do.
Anyway, inputted my current stats and guess what? I've met my target!!! Well, the target I set myself at the start that...
Give yourself a break lovely...we're all human. Stop beating yourself up, try and stay on track for your last week and think of that end goal. You can do it x

Hi all. I'm now 15 months post op and have lost almost 11 stone. Just wondering when everyone stopped losing weight. Mine stopped a few months back for almost 3 months but in May & June i've almost lost another stone again! I'm confused (though not worried as I still have 2 more stones to go ;)...

After the surgery he was amazing though....so relieved I think. He was worried at first about how quick...
I'm just over a year post op and go anywhere. I never order pizza, steaks or burgers as they really are just too much but I do try everything else.
Sometimes I just have a starter for my main or else I'll order a normal main and eat up to half.
I know we're supposed to opt for protein but...
I started on just liquids. Did 2 weeks then starting fainting so dietician swapped me to food diet (1000 cals) and was fine for surgery. Plus lost 2 stone in that month!

Come on...you CAN do this! If you dont = no op/open surgery! Not really a choice this one. Keep picturing that goal, stock up on lots of sugar free liquids (diet coke really kept me going as it kind of filled me with gas too so I didn't feel that hungry), make lots of sugar free jelly and...
That's right....keep positive. A year makes such a difference. I'm still officially obese (by 0.5 bmi point now!) but feel so much better in this weather than I did last year. It will be well worth it. Keep cool and relax xx
Thanks so much! That's good to hear about the pain....the tightness and lack of mobility for a while sounds do-able. Do you know how long you they expect you to have difficulty getting about for though? I'm just wondering how long I'd have to have off work. I feel so bad already after the...
