Hi Karma,
Just seen this - you look fantastic, well done :D
I don't dump either so i know where you're coming from, chocolate is still hard to resist !
Oh thank you Poppet, have to say i thought losing weight would give me more confidence than it has - but hopefully that will come with time
Hope you're doing well xx
Really don't worry about it.. I did lose quite a lot of hair from around 4 months post op and it is worrying because you think it will never stop - but it does! Now my hair is back to it's original thickness a year on from my op... So just look at it as a temporary problem that won't last...
Thanks Julie, you've done extremely well and looking fabulous yourself :)
Do you struggle at all with anything in particular ? I still have trouble with meat which is when i find myself taking the easy options
Thankyou... Still a way to go but actually seeing these photo's today has made me realise how much i've lost and inspired me to pull my socks up and put the effort into losing the rest :D

Hi Everyone,
Not posted much recently but thought i'd put up a before and 1 year on picture. I can't say it's been easy and i'm struggling at the moment with wrong choices and the last 3 stone but it's definately been worth it. :)
xx

I also had my surgery at Homerton last April and also had to stay in for a week in July - Although i agree the place has seen better days and i did have to fend for myself quite a bit, even disconnecting my drip so i could...
I definately need a kick as well :p

Hi Karen,
Congratulations :) Homerton and Essex have an agreement for people who meet their criteria and they are usually automatically funded - but speak to Diane who deals with all the admin and she'll be able to confirm whether or not this is the case for you.
Sorry misread , didn't realise it was the pre-op diet
As Dawny says it's to shrink your liver - they're really not fussed if you don't lose weight on it, as long as you're following it to the letter please don't worry :)
I've had this as well but what you have to remember is that it's not necessarily hunger... Our pouches make a hell of a lot of gurgling noises as food or liquid goes through and it can be mistaken for hunger... Could be this. ;)
My stomach was moaning like hell yesterday while i was with a...
It really does depend on the person but if you want to lose 8st and no more it's very possible to eat enough to maintain, especially once you get past the 6 month mark as it definately slows down for most people after then.
What a great idea and well done on getting to goal :D
I know a couple of people who've been to Champneys and say it's lovely - not experienced it myself though unfortunately lol
