Spoke to Dc El Hasani's secretary

Great news Mark ! It's just over a year now since I had my RNY with Mr El Hasani and life couldn't be better ! I have my next checkup with Star this coming Monday and am hoping she'll confirm that I don't need to lose any more weight.

    Confused - Private WLS

Hi Wendy - the benefit of going through Chelsfield will be that you know Sheila and some of the other bariatric nurses there. And for Mr El Hasani, knowing you already come to the support group is a huge plus in your favour.

    A very important announcement.

Ok, where is the evidence of manipulation from the persons named ? It saddens me that we are only being presented with one version of the truth, if that's what it is. Facts are also not the same as evidence.

    A very important announcement.

It's certainly a disturbing story - but can only be conjecture. The people named have been banned with immediate effect and are therefore unable to speak for themselves. Where is the evidence of sabotage ? Can anyone point to any posts from those named which are indicative of sabotage ? There...

    Alcohol??? yes/no???

I have a small half glass of wine every night - I sip it slowly and have never had any problems. While on holiday I had some cocktails and have even had a couple of sips of champagne. Just drink really slowly and be aware that alcohol gets into your system much quicker after a bypass.

3 weeks off work but still dont feel ready??

Hi Brad - I had a bypass not a band, but after 3 weeks I was absolutely not ready to go back to work - and I am office based. My GP signed me off for a further 2 weeks and I then did a phased return for another 3 weeks after that.

    New kinda meal log

That's a clever idea Frankie... It would give people an insight into portions too. Pre-op we all worry about how much we're going to be able to eat afterwards. Longer term we can eat bigger portions and seeing this I think will reassure a lot of people. It will also help people who are...
