i am 22 and my bmi was 62 when i had my op. I felt pretty well near enough straight away but would have needed 2-3 weeks off work. Maybe leave it 4 weeks if your have to do a lot of lifting. You wont have a lot of energy when you first come round as your body wont be used to the very little...

Take loads of pictures of your injuries hun and then file a claim. You were hurt at work and they should be insured for that. Dont let it rest. Your emotional distress should be worth something too with the taunting you got afterwards. Write everything down while it is still fresh in your mind...

It's for hygiene love, they take every measure to make sure you are as clean and hygienic as possible. You cant be on your period and have to have a shower on the morning of your surgery. xxx

Good luck to you hun. One thing i would say is: Dont compare yourself to other people. Everyone loses weight at different times, so just because someone is losing slowly or quickly doesnt necessarily mean you will be the same :) xxxxx
