I would deffo wait till after too, you will feel generally weak for a couple of months after the op while your body gets used to the amount of food it is now taking in :) xxx

I hated that bleeding machine too! I came home with bruises all over my arm cause it was so tight...i had bruises everywhere i think from needles etc (a beast on my bum!!).

i am 22 and my bmi was 62 when i had my op.
I felt pretty well near enough straight away but would have needed 2-3 weeks off work. Maybe leave it 4 weeks if your have to do a lot of lifting. You wont have a lot of energy when you first come round as your body wont be used to the very little...
I live near Exeter so will be moving to Plymouth in September. I did my undergraduate degree in Plymouth and didnt really like it, im not a fan of how big and busy plymouth is, im a country gal at heart :) I want to live in a village like Port Isaac someday :D

Take loads of pictures of your injuries hun and then file a claim. You were hurt at work and they should be insured for that. Dont let it rest. Your emotional distress should be worth something too with the taunting you got afterwards. Write everything down while it is still fresh in your mind...
It's for hygiene love, they take every measure to make sure you are as clean and hygienic as possible. You cant be on your period and have to have a shower on the morning of your surgery.

One thing i would say is: Dont compare yourself to other people. Everyone loses weight at different times, so just because someone is losing slowly or quickly doesnt necessarily mean you will be the same :) xxxxx
