Hi yvessa,it's been a while..yes I'm afraid I've had several things done..
how are you? Ive gone up to size 16 in clothes now..a bit Mad with myself for allowing this to happen, but I've had such a shitty time with my stomach,it's got me down.
7 years nearly...that's gone fast..
It's been one TOUGH ride and anyone who thinks I have taken the easy route to weightloss hasn't a clue.
I started out size 24/26 I'm currently 14/16,my weight has increased and I've had several stomach surgeries..including Peterson defect.
I am grateful for my...
I've been on this lanzaropsole for 6 years since my gastric bypass,2 a day.
I had to stop taking for 2 weeks on doctors orders to have a pylori test done, whilst off these tablets I had the most severe burning pains..soon as I went back on them everything was ok again.
Yes I was tested for that h pylori,my stomach is tons better since my surgery for the petersons defect.
I really don't post much anymore, only if I feel I can be of some help...like you say lots of stuff doesn't apply to us.
And some newbies tend to be "full of knowledge" :-)
I've got a bad habit...
You know you did wrong....just don't do it again.
It really ain't worth the trouble you'll get yourself into if your insides are put into danger just for the sake of a bit of something your chancing....I remember the early days still like yesterday...it's hard to change the habits of a life...
My christmas dinner was a M+S fish pie...and it was lovely..
I've had fish pie for the past 5 years for my christmas dinner since my surgery.
There's no worse feeling than a EVIL sprout being stuck and chest pain for the rest of the day!
Be careful...if your only 2weeks post op aren't you still on thin clear liquids stage ? Never mind thin mush ?
It's so easy in your mind thinking your ready for more, when your body tells you different.
Mouse..I've asked my GP if I should have the flu jab due to me being a bypass person...they said if wasn't more vulnerable and there's no need...even though I need b12,lifelong vitamins and iron deficient.
So I've never had one..
Thanks mouse and tranquil...
I do have to own up though that I've gained a bit of weight back..no longer a 12 but 14/16 trouser.
Dr ammori didn't seem to concerned as I'm over 5 yrs out and have maintained pretty good for my amount of years.
He told me to watch my crisp habit though,as I was...
Thanks Marcus...all is well at minute :-)
I had stopped posting as I was all doom and gloom....
And there's nobody about anymore that had surgery many years ago like me...so I'm boring..lol
After all tests came back clear I ended up going in for investigations to have a check around...
I ended up having a defect repaired..a hole in which the surgeon repaired as my bowel was slipping in/out of.
I had always insisted the pain I was getting felt like a trapped bowel..as it was...
Yesterday..I had my appointment regarding surgery I had back in May.
I'm was lucky to see Dr Prof Ammori on this occasion, and we had a good chat and I learnt a few things.
He asked how things was after my recent surgery I had with the other surgeon he works with.
If anyone has read past posts...
