Wencho I stayed the same too. Don't worry (says me lol).
The nurse & dietician at my appointment said bypassers were prone to stalls. Especially when you consider how much we've lost now I suppose our bodies need to have a word with themselves and have a rest.
I was told to stop concentrating on...
Hello ladies. Similar story for me really at my appointment. We reassessed my goal weight to 9st instead of 8 (although that's still what I'm going to aim for).
I've had skin infections on my legs and tummy but my skin doesn't look bad at all. In fact I'm pretty chuffed with my legs lol. I will...
I stalled for a month. I do around 2 hours hard gym cardio (spinning and running a day) and I'm on at most 1000 calories a day.
It's started moving slowly again when I started having protein shakes this week. It's the only difference really so I can only assume it's the protein?
xx
I've finally moved. I've been having protein shakes to make sure I get enough and I've had an injury so I haven't been to the gym in a week so they might have shocked my body into moving again. It's only 2lbs but it's in the right direction and I'm now officially overweight. Woop woop.
Good luck...
Thanks Suzie. I use myfitnesspal religiously. I'm in starvation mode without the exercise as I simply can't eat 1200 calories per day never mind the 2500 I need after my exercise.
It's a no win situation really.
xx
My nurse appointment is just my check up at the Wallsend hospital place hun.
I was given a card that said the dietician had an open clinic the 1st Friday of every month but you need to ring to book in.
I'm just so frustrated. I was supposed to go out at the weekend for a meal & didn't so feel...
Well yet another stay the same week. Really upset this week though as I've been really good and my exercise has gone up a level. I can run for 20 mins solid now & I've gone back to spinning. I'm getting really frustrated now & feel like my body has reverted back to it's pre-op problem of...
Thanks Suzie I'm naturally blonde so I'd be returning to my roots. That's why the red took well, I'm so light.
It is loads easier but I'm on 2 minds wether to go really short or start to grow it back!!!
xx
Thats how I got mine cut lol!! Great minds think alike. I went from brown/black to bright red but I'm going to start the long process back to blonde next week.
You really suit it hun.
xx
Maybe I'll try that Wencho. Aww Suzie. I've already cut mine into a short bob so it's less noticeable than thinning long hair. Post a pic & let us see your new look.
Congrats both on the weight losses!!!
Hopefully I'll catch up next wk!

Hi hun. I was told we don't get B12 until 6 months from our GP.
I've had another stay the same week which isn't good when I consider how much effort I'm putting in. But then again if you'd have told me 12 months ago I'd be a size 14 I would never have believed you. I think I need to concentrate...
I spoke to my bariatric nurse and she was chuffed with my slow losses. She said not to measure myself against others losses and even suggested I stop coming on here if it's making me feel inadequate etc.
I haven't got as much to lose as some of her other patients and looking at your stats I...
I'm guessing if she gets a bonus based on group weight loss as a WLS member, she won't get any cash for your losses.
She's probably bitter that you're losing loads and she won't feel it in her pocket.
WELL DONE YOU!!!!!!!

My losses have been really slow too. It was around 2lbs a week but the last month I've been lucky if I've managed that. I'm exercising a lot so the sizes are going down and I'm toning.
The way I'm looking at it is the slower it comes off the better my skin will be.
xx
I've been told by the doc there's nothing I can do to help it just manage it until I get to goal weight and they can remove it. It's infected already so dreading the next 4 stones or so. Hey ho though. It's better than being fat lol.
xx
I'm already wearing proper Nike core exercise stuff hun. I think it's because the shorts push the skin down and when I'm exercising it's rubbing. I've got boils too on my face and neck which aren't pretty.
I've tried Sudocrem which the nurse suggested but it's not helping. I think I'm going to...
Hello ladies. I've stayed the same this week but hey ho. I can feel a difference in my clothes so assume it's all of the gym work.
I have started having skin problems now though and I'm in agony with blisters and sores where my skin is rubbing. Has this started for you yet?
xx
