    Banding and Long Haul Flying

My area says total defill for flights over 4 hours due to everything expanding at altitude. My niece who is long hall says her uniform has to be a size bigger as her tummy expands during flights. I don't think a band would be a good option for your job. But if it were your operation of...

    Worried about Dimond

Thanks, yes I have been on facebook more, as when I am away in hospital it is easier from my phone, and I have started playing farmville again to occupy myself when times are bad. I don't know why I am having such a long mid life crisis, I guess I need closure and at the moment I still have so...

I said to the dietitian I had suffered dumping and she poo pooed it saying you can only do it after a bypass. BUT. I think maybe its not official dumping, but it is a sugar rush and yes it can happen and you feel awful. I too thought I was dying, my heat rate was so fast, and the sweats...

New and looking for advice on surgery please =]

The nice guidelines I think are BMI 40 or 35 with serious health problems, but many PCT's have their own criteria. Some have moved the goalposts to very high BMI's. But don't let that put you off asking, you have to start somewhere, and your health problems maybe a big factor. Please go...

    Do you feel better?

I must admit being fairly newly opp'ed, I do wonder if people feel better! When I see someone on here with fantastic losses, I do type, 'wow you must feel like a different person', or even 'WOW you must feel 100 times better.' Maybe I will change when people start asking me that. Some of...

And when you do 'GO' you will loose a weight in one go! I am the same, 2lbs in 10 days, they say it slows, then we will have a leap down those scales (fingers crossed)

Hi Shy, Welcome and well done in finding this great site. I wasn't far after you on 4th August, so we are at a similar stage. So how are you doing, pain and food wise? I hope you have had a good 6 weeks or so since the op. 20lbs in the first two weeks was huge, so your body is just...

So this is how it went.

Hi Butterfly, some of us wear our own knickers, some of us wear paper ones and some start in knickers but end up in the buff! Some also have to have a catheter fitted, so obviously no knickers there. There was a recent post on it, which is what Sarah was referring to.
