It feels fantastic but what more is that you both have achieved it too so I get to share the joy with you both too :D:D:D:D:D so we can all go round with huge grins on our faces till our less than chubby cheeks ache lol
I have made it! 100lb lost :eek::):) I know I still have a long way to go but I have made it to this milestone.
I have been making some bad food choices lately and do need to get back on track 100% and hopefully this will give me the boost I need to have more water and less carbs!
I had a bypass at the Luton and had to have clexane injections everyday for nearly 2 weeks, these were to prevent blood clots. I hate needles too but my hubby done them for me.
Capiegirl have you had your op yet? If not you will be given a dietician when you start having hospital appointments before and after your op. (sorry cant see all the info on my iPhone)!
Well I saw the dietician today and asked the question about the medi tag and she couldn't see any reason to wear one! I said about being hit by a bus scenario and she said the only problem she could see is if they had to cut you open and see things are different but obviously that's the extreme...

I will have to ask my medically trained friends but then with them not being bypass specialists it even dealing with bypass' I'm not sure if they would know if any probs, it's a shame I won't be seeing my surgeon again but hopefully the dietician or nurse will know the answer or can find out the...

I was never a big drinker before the op but on a rare night out I enjoy a vodka or 3 since the op I have had a couple of glasses of wine but I did mix them with lemonade to start with, if you haven't had any since the op try a little at home first as you don't want to spoil your night out. I...
I have got my 3 month check next week even though it's more like 5 months! That was the closest date to my 3 months they could get! Not sure how often it is after this one,
I was told there is no more dieting, as we can only eat small amounts then dieting isn't necessary yes we have to make good food choices but nothing is a no no as long as you can tolerate it. We are not slaves to diet food anymore ( just make sure there isn't too much fat or sugar lol)
That sounds like the dietician I saw too lol and I am back there again on thursday so let's see if I get her again, she told me the forums are a waste of time, yet I have learned more here than they ever provided me!
Yes I agree we are not on a diet anymore but I have had a really rough couple...
Oh right I wasn't aware of that, I am seeing my team on Thursday for a check up I will ask them about this, surely if there is even a remote possibility there could be a problem then they should tell you this as standard!
