relax ......its when you start proper food again you'll find out your limits on what you can eat ;) I found that no two days are the same one day I can eat a sausage or two and the next not even a bite .....oh and don't shop whilst you're hungry as you'll buy and cook more than you'll eat...
I was told by one of the obesity team nurses to stop dieting and eat for my pouch (eat when hungry and all that) now my hba1c has gone from good control to bad in six months ....now i'm struggling to get them back under control
the diabetes team are talking about adding another tablet or...
i found that no matter how well i kept my mouth clean (brushing and mouthwash) my other half would say that my breath stank ..........but it worked ;):D:D:D

just be carefull and keep a check on your sugars ....... i had the bypass to get me off the huge amount of insulin and metformin that i was taking pre op............anyways i was taking off all my meds post op (although i was later told that the metformin should've been carried on...
i put a pair on the other night that i thought were mine............. thought they were a bit tight but i still managed to do the button and flys up ......... they turned out to be the eldest boys 34" waisted jeans :eek: i have'nt been in a size like that since i was 15 ....33 years ago :D:D:D:D
my o/h had mr el-hassani too at chelsfield last october she said he's a very nice man ...........and yes he smiled (maybe that was for the private patients) :D:D:D:D:D
