    Band is gone...

It's strange, 11 days post band removal and still feel like I have a band. Probably just because I'm still healing but it's good for now. Good thing is I still chew properly and I hope I carry this habit on :)

    Band is gone...

Yes it was installed and removed on the NHS. It is concerning but the band hasn't been around long enough for the surgeons to know all the facts. It's such a shame but get this... Got weighed today and I'm lighter than I ever was with the band!! I'm keeping it up and determined. I've picked up...

Thanks guys, the band was in the perfect place no slippage no nothing. Just how it is with some people I guess. Hi all, Called NHS direct who didn't know much about bands so out of hours GP called me and said it sounds like my band has slipped ??. They've asked me to come in on an urgent appointment so I can have an x-ray and be referred to the surgeons if necessary. Praying it's just something stuck...

Yeah I have the card but the band is something you wear as not many people carry cards everywhere, while they're exercising etc. Ah I'll call my provider to see what they think. Thanks for all the help :)

Go with whatever you feel like babe. Most people don't get a choice so you're lucky with that. I'm glad the ball is rolling I've been following this post with everything crossed. So pleased for you x

    Mediband?!

Hey, I'm getting a mediband to wear so I have something on me at all times to show I have a band. Does anyone know the actual term I need written on it? Would it be like 'gastric band in situ' or 'shouldn't be intubated'?? Please help!
