    I'm a man - Surgery schedule for 8th Jan

Good luck with your surgery. I would say ensure you have support after surgery. Someone to lift things, help with day to day tasks, and to be there for you. Stock up on anything that you will need up to 2 weeks after surgery.

    I Want To Die.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sometimes I feel depressed, and I thought the weightloss would take care of it. I feel more confident, so it helps, however it doesn't necessarily take care of all our feelings and the downers. I thing it is great that you are going to have the...

    whats your sign??

I can relate to the twitch on the side. When I feel full, I can usually feel my stomach. It usually means that I am at max. I tried not to reach that point though, and stick to the recommended portions

    Gastric Sleeve saggy boobs

I have saggy boobs too. Went from 42E/F to 34E/D. I tried as best as possible to keep on my bra. Just got brave enough to talk about it with my partner. I feel so grateful for the weightloss the saggy boobs seems so small, compared to the over gains. Guys are sometimes not as shallow as...

    Wind?

To avoid wind I was told not to have fizzy drinks, drink from straws, eat to fast, and chew gum. I have tested them all and had terrible pain. Hope this helps Regards

    Liver

I think it should be fine. From what I know less fat on your liver will only make it better. The idea is to shrink it so that the surgeon has more access to stomach. I am afraid that large people, are more likely to have enlarge or fatty livers. Please bear in mind if you are with the NHS...

    So annoyed!

I know the feeling. Some of the doubt will come about because of her fares and anxiety. I had friends who got so upset with me, for no reason, saying I was taking the easy option. No they see me they are now fine with it. Please, you will find other support. Stay focus, and surround...

    HELP.

I have notice a similar thing. Mine was owing to drinking sugary drinks, and adventures of eating food I missed. I cut back on these and I am now losing more quickly. Good luck with your exercise. If you can do anything at home (steps, squats, walking around the room, housework) it helps.

    Walking in my bedroom

Well done. I did the same after surgery, just walking around in the living room, then moving slowly on the stepper till I could do more. It works! Keep it up!

    I have a Question????

I would say at least try not to put on any additional weight. You could discuss the weightloss strategy with your consultant and ask him if weightloss will have an impact on your funding. For Islington PCT it didn't have a negative impact. However I am aware that some PCT will have different...

    Tiredness/carbs

It does take time for your body to heal. For me the tiredness never went until 3months. I found increasing the carbs helped and drinking more water as I was a bit dehydrated. I some time get tired when I eat certain foods.
