K had my bloods done last week and hospital is after coming back saying there is abnormalities so I have to come in for a ultrasound scan and I might have to have my galbladder removed? Has anyone else had this after a mini bypass?

I'm same I'm 6 months out and some days I can only nibble and others I feel I'm eating like I use to I'm so afraid of stretching my pouch via this is my last chance.

Yeah u am good at getting drinks in. I do need at least a pint of water to take my tablets in morn. It's starting to get a lot better but I'm back taking my anti sickness tablets regular.

I had bypass and I still go by the if it looks like it fits into a muller light pot that's enough. And I have to say I don't feel full until about 15 or 20 min after I have finished my meal. But I do feel hungry from time to time and I thought I wouldn't as that glan was ment to be removed. ??

The frothy is usually ur siliva not getting tru do something you ate today is stuck and it's fighting against each other. Stay calm and just try wait for it to pass. Try drink fluids to push it tru but don't eat till its tru. Hope this helps

I have had two bands I'm not sure how far on ur journey you are but some times if food got stuck in mine if have pain and best thing to do is go back to fluids for a day or two till swelling goes then pain goes. Hope this helps x

I would never turn anyone else off having surgery tho cod I had great success before. I lost 11 stone with a band and was so happy for years till I had it removed stupidity thinking I could live without it.

In fairness I had 3 previous bariatric operations so it was a risk but they reassured me Id be ok I still regret it as I nearly died a few times but I'm getting over it. I have very bad nightmares and flash backs but I know my journey is not like anyone else's. I'm just glad to be here.

It's ok. I have great loss in down 5 stone 7 lb in 3 months but I had a lot of complications and spent my first 9 weeks in hospital. And didn't loose anything then cod they had me taking 1900kcal Iv per day. But thank god that part is over and I'm on mend.
