Uclh has a dedicated bariatric department, they have 3 or 4 consultants + a bariatric fellow, 2 cns and all the usual support networks. They aim to operate from first referral within 9 months.
If my weight loss did come to a full stop before i reached my goal weight i might consider having the switch but at the moment the cons of it out weight the pros imo. I Just hope the consultant thinks i am doing well enough to stick with just the sleeve.
When i originally went to Farnborough Starr said that only a few people actually make it on a sleeve only, my whole problem was eating too much and being to heavy to exercise, now i eat 1 10th of what i used to and exercise 4-5 times a week.

I felt the same till i started eating properly, meat, eggs and bread will def 100% bloat you out. Its really not a nice feeling and i go from feeling fine to feeling like i had eaten a lead ballon. Be patient and you will progress.
The chances of actually dieing are very very small, You hardly ever hear of people dieing from the surgery, i have only heard of 1 person dieing and that was from the person not being able to eat. I was over 34 stone when i was operated on and im still here to tell the tale.
