wow 8 stone off - well done! Sometimes I still feel like that's impossible, I think with the weight loss happening quickly so far, my head hasn't had time to catch up, so although I know it's possible it seems alot further off than it really is (4 stone 4lb to go) ..... did you ever feel like that?
That's been fine, the issue I had was going from liquids to puree - the nausea was horrific so I ended up skipping the puree stage and went onto soft solids at 3 weeks. I do find I'm living off cheese omelettes, chicken and peanut butter atm, as veg makes me feel a bit ill still. I concentrate...
With regards to sipping fluids - nothing for 15 mins before or 30 mins afterwards. Other than that - keep sipping, if u take too much it will feel like a marble is resting in your chest (if it happens just 'jiggle' a bit and it helps it go - I had to do it at the wls support meet I met you at...
from the moment the funding is agreed the NHS have to carry out the procedure within 18 weeks. I suspect he will give you an idea of when at your next appointment :-)
I'm fine, I used to have some weird reactions to food prior to the surgery (prob why I tended to stick to doritos and dips lol) and it's just working out now what my body likes, but am not quite 3 weeks out so it's a slow, steady learning curve :-)
I started puree last night, I was advised by my GP not to start mush while I was on liquid codeine as they didn't want me straining due to constipation from the codeine. However, I came off the codeine last Saturday and so started mush last night :-)
