    Had the op last thursdsy. Its gone well do far. Pain has gone. Not feeling too tied. Drinking plenty. Eating (?) Low fat sugar free plsin yogurts, soup tomato, sieved cresm of mushroom, consomme, bovil, sugat free jelly, tea and coffee. Esting 3 times a day. I have a question, yesterday...

    Well here we go. 9 days to bypass op planned for 5th Sept.

    Yes and no appears to be the answer to the type 1 question. If you have taken insulin for less than 10 years a very good chance 10 to 15 alot less over 15 very unlikely. Having spoken with the diabetic nurses in leeds they dont seem to know of any others type 1s who have had it done in Leeds.

    Pre Op diet started going well. Pre op assessment tomorrow. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 27 years and advise and tips would be welcome
