I've lost a hell of a lot of weight, and more importantly, I've regained my life. A friend remarked recently she knew I'd change a lot with the surgery, but the changes in me have been profound. Wish I'd done it years ago.

I was sleeved by Professor Ammori in August on the NHS at Salford Royal. I only met him at my pre-op appointment, but the op went extremely well, and I've recovered and moved on. I highly recommend him!

I get what you're saying, and that's why I asked about the stats. Wondering if I'm deceiving myself that I can get down to my personal goal, and if I can maintain it. Educating myself on avoiding the pitfalls and issues that cause regain, and trying to keep myself motivated and happy like I am...

I'd be interested to see the regain stats that are being talked about. Most of them I read talk about minor regains (20 pounds-ish), which in the scheme of things isn't much at all.
