They said the teir process wasn't needed then. Combination of funding issues and their research suggested it did not make a difference to success rates.
However, they do need to follow NICE guidelines, so may have changed since my surgery.
I was referred in November 2013, first group meeting on 23 December 2013.
Then ecg etc. Then psychologist and dietitian. My MDT meeting was in the June 2014.
Operation on 4 July 2014.
6 month wait once I got to St Marys
My hair loss has been awful!!
It started at about 4 months post op and hasn't stopped (I'm 2.5 years out)... You can now see my scalp!
Vitamins, Protein and biotin, shampoos and conditioners etc NOTHING has helped me! :(
I'm pretty sure they don't (I've not been offered and I'm sure the others haven't either).
I think you can request 1-2-1 appointments with the dietician or psychologist
I've just seen this!! So sorry!!
Yes I had mine at St Marys - Along with a fair few others.
St Marys DO offer the pre-op group sessions, then after you get your next appointment on the day (if they still have the process I followed).
Your GP needs to refer you to St Marys to get the Group...
I have the shortcut (set up this morning).
I'm missing the notifications. I think it's just the app way of life we all have now. I'm not used to checking something. I like the app, lol.
Guess that I'll have to get used to checking xx
Anyone know what's going on with the app?
It's not loading and I'm getting an error message.
I've tried deleting and reloading, but nothing seems to work :(
No. :'(
It's remained thin, shedded looking and now is no longer than my chin.
It's stopped falling. But hasn't grown
I just got hair extensions, if I'm going to go bold. I'll do it with hair extensions xxx
