Hello everyone
I had my sleeve op 6 years ago and initially lost 5 stone.
However over the last few years the weight has crept up again and I have put on 2 stone.
I am really scared that I will eventually put all my weight back on again .
I had my op at the uclh but not been to see them for ages...
I know what you mean I feel exactly the same. I guess we shouldn't compare ourselves with everyone else's losses as we all lose weight at a different rate. My starting weight was 20 stone and I am now 15 stone 3 so a weight loss of nearly 5 stone in 8 months. Feel quite despondent sometimes...
I have also hit a stall over the last few months so you are not alone. It's really frustrating but glad I am not alone. Unfortunately not many people post on here when they have stalls which is a shame .

Hi I had .
my op at the UCLH last September .My surgeon was Dr Jenkingson
I chose the sleeve over the bypass because it is less evasive.
Feel free to ask me any questions about my experience at the UCLH although I will. Say my surgeon was fantastic I have had no problems so far.
Good luck ladies xx
Hi Alex
I just wanted to say how brave you have been through your whole experience . I hope that you will get better soon and you can start living life to the full with your family again.
I can't really offer you any advice as no body really know what a person is going through unless they are in...
Thank you for your very helpful post it has made me feel so much better especially when you said you didn't lose weight for 2 months. This has been my worry for weeks because since 18th December I have only lost 4lbs and it's been driving me mad.
You have done so brilliantly and it's seems...

Hi would like to add a new thread for September Surgeries . I had my surgery on the 4th September and would like to hear from other September oppers on how you are all doing.
At the beginning of my journey I was 20 stone and by today's weight I am now 15 stone 10 .

Take no notice of negativity I had it for months before my surgery. It's probably because they are worried about you but you need to put yourself and your health first. Most of my family were against me having wls because they thought I should try harder to do it myself. If we could do that then...
Thanks girls for the compliments still got a long way to go and I have hit a stall over the last few weeks which is annoying but as long as I get to what I want to be eventually It will all be fine xxx
You should be really proud of yourself for being strong and keeping positive through this very hard time that you have been through.
I don't post very often but felt I had to when I read your post.
I hope that 2015 will bring a fresh chapter into your life where you can start to enjoy a...
