Hi Jan, the pills I'm on for gall stones is ursodeoxycholic acid-what a mouthful!! I have to take 1 and a half tablets twice a day. Think it's only a short term thing for those. I have to admit, it's a bit of a wait for NHS ops but the aftercare is fab!! Hope you're doing good Jo X

I've just had a mini bypass and I'm on lanzaprasole(for acid, sorry if it's spelt wrong!) 2 tablets for prevention of gall stones - these medicines are for 3 months. I'm on multi vitamins for life and 3 monthly b12 injections. Also have to get regular bloods done so maybe iron x

Ooo Tina I really think you need an appointment with your GP. Laxatives are fine short term but can't be a long term solution. It might just be your body adjusting to a new diet and will take time or could be a food intolerance of some kind- that happened to me. Either way I'd definitely ask...
