I converted band to sleeve in January at my check up beginning of June they said I'd lost 44% of my excess weight total 2 stone 10 lb and we're pleased with my progress ahead of target since then I have lost nothing in fact prob gained a pound. I haven't Been on here because I'm so disheartened...

I was ok with the sleeve after the six weeks I struggled a lot more with my band x

I had a band with hospital group and conversion to sleeve with spire from my personal experience I'd say spire all the way the aftercare is ten times better although I didn't have any specific problems with the hospital group and if they are considerably cheaper maybe orth considering x

I agree go with your consultant and have the sleeve I've had to go band to sleeve personally the balloon wouldn't be an option as only temporary and i know I'd put the weight back on as I did when I had problems with my band. I too wish I'd been advised better but easy to say with hindsight Good...
