Has anyone had revision due to bile reflux...

Wow you have been through the wars. From weight loss point of view i am brilliant but the reflux and tiredness is tough. Reduced cals obviously causing tirednesst so really its purely reflux issue to resolve. No NHS bariatric services here in NI so docs are useless in helping it. One drug my...

Has anyone had revision due to bile reflux...

Surgeon mentioned potential fundoplication, linx surgery, or limb lengthening (obviously as you rightly say this can restart the weight loss). From what iv read, fundoplication isnt great option after bypass as you struggle with bloating/wind/inability to vomit etc, linx does not have much...

    Dumping

Hi guys, hope you are all well. Does dumping continue for rest of your life, or does the body gradually build up a tolerance to things as things heal. Just curious. As someone who has avoided the sugary stuff etc for 11mths post op since an unfortunate calpol episode, i am just wondering....

Calories after a year and particularly longer

spoke to my dietitian yday who advised 800-1000cals at minute and long term under 1200 as going over that runs danger of weight regain. Personally id have thought more long term as when you are near a "normal weight" you would be needing to eat closer to normal recommended daily cal amount, but...

Hi guys, Just wondering about how many calories patients are on from over a year and longer out.
