How exciting, it'll be the best thing you've ever done
I'm great with public places and holidays, I pick things from the menu and then make suitable substitutes like having a sauce on the side or asking for a burger without the bun etc most restaurants are really helpful I've just been on...
thanks Victoria I didn't keep a diary, but wish I had done!
It was tough to start with its a big adjustment to your life but now 11 months down the line, I have settled in to my new lifestyle and finding things much easier. I'm still obsessed with food but now it's protein and sugar content and...
Thanks I feel so much younger too, it's amazing how it has changed my life. It's only now that I realise how bad things were before I lost all of my weight.
hi
Im less than a year post bypass but have lost nearly 130lbs already, despite going to the gym 3-4 times per week everything has gone Deep South! I know I can't have the surgery until 18 months or so after my op but just wondered if anyone on here had had both procedures done at the same time...
I felt so bad for the first three weeks post op, I hated the liquid diet and mourned the loss of food.

I had my bypass 4 months ago all has been good until this weekend. Whatever I eat is making me feel nauseous regardless of how much I eat. Has anyone else had this? If so do you know the cause and will it pass?

I went to the gym!! Had a peppermint tea when I got home, I'm usually ok but tonight was bad, hope this isn't a taste of what's to come, I thought I was doing really well
It had crossed my mind that I was stretching my pouch, I guess I'm just worrying as I don't know anyone that has had this done. I have my group meeting in a couple of weeks, I'm going to write down everything I be been worrying about and ask if they are normal or not
im 3 months out and have noticed I'm starting to manage larger portion sizes than I was a couple of weeks ago, no where near as large as pre op but is this normal?
I was told no more than 12g of sugar per serving and that has served me well so far. I gagged on the protein shakes so was really pleased when I could progress to protein bars, I've found one that only has 5g of sugar in it and is 20g protein and is delicious, it's combat crunch by musclepharm...
