The one thing I most regret not packing ...was fan! ( battery or electric) I was so hot in hospital (their heating was on high all the time...it was Sept!) In hindsight ...i could of asked for a fan....but was so drained, And ...the staff was super busy....that i never got around to asking for...

@Lottiewishes Dust yourself down...tomorrows another day. Just try for a better day tomorrow. What's done is done. I've not eaten the best lately either...but, nothing I can do about that now. Just have to make tomorrow a better day. It's so hard...before & after surgery. I didn't realize...

Happened to me that at York teaching Hospital. I'd already got their too....surgical stockings on, slippers.. Went their for 7am...waited til 2pm to be told their is a bed shortage. Very nearly happend a second time too....but right at last minute....a bed became available. The good news...
