    I'm really good thanks @Carby2barbie It will be 4 weeks tomorrow since my surgery and my first day on soft food. I just hope it goes as well as the first 2 stages! I have now lost a total of 3st 1lb since I started the pre-op diet (1st 9lb of which is since my surgery) so very happy xxx

    If he tried to put me over his shoulder, the weight of me would have broke his back! Lol It maybe different at your hospital about taking tablets but at Derby it's not a problem:) Yes my water bottle it my best friend st the moment we are joined at the hip. Xx

    Forceval

    Hi @Cupcake12333 i couldn't have forceval because they contain iodine which I am allergic to, so I'm on a tiny little tablet called Ketovite 1 tablet 3 times a day, it's really easy to take because it's so small!

    When I came back from Cuba and started my pre op diet I was 20st 13lb, day of surgery I was 19.7st last time I weighed myself was 3 days ago and I was 18.5st so really pleased :) The skyr 100g is 11g protein and 4g sugar so not too bad!

    Glad to hear you're doing so well, it's so weird how protocol differs from place to place, I'm on the injections for 2 weeks after coming home and the stockings as well, but told don't overdo the walking for the first few weeks (wouldn't have the energy any way lol) xxx

    Hi Suffolk Joy, I have not been on here for a few days as I ended up getting an infection in one of my wounds so was feeling quite crappy for a few days! I'm feeling much better this week apart from having no energy, today is my first day of puréed food so will Let you know how it goes. Xx

    Hi I had my sleeve done at Derby 11 days ago, I was about 7 months from going on the list to getting operation date. But I think more operations are being done now so hopefully you won't wait as long :)

    Glad to hear you're feeling ok, I was given infacol by the hospital for the wind pain, sometimes my hubby rubbed my back (it was like winding a huge baby ) but it definitely helped! Xxx

    I'm feeling ok thanks, not much energy but more comfortable:) I have started my vitamins now so hopefully they may help. I am managing about 750ml-1ltr so that's good, I feel I am constantly sipping fluids!

    Hi @Hopeful_Meg not sure if your hospital will do this, but at Derby they give you infacol (the stuff babies have) 5ml three times a day starting day after surgery it's fantastic for the wind pain xx

    OMG Surgery tomorrow!!!

    Hi everyone, surgery went well, I ended up with the sleeve. I had a few problems with acid reflux and high temperature but they changed my medication etc and I finally came home last night. Feeling loads better today :) but surprised at how tired I have been! Thanks for everyone's support xx :)
