Merry Christmas Everyone,
Have any bypass people had any probs with acid/reflux?
Im 7 months out, not had any problems so far. Ive had acid for 5 days. Ive not eaten anything different & seems to have come from nowhere.

Hi, welcome to the forum & good luck with your journey.
Ive had a bypass but was told before my op that due to intestinal adhesions they might have had to go with a sleeve. I think it was to do with the time it would take to remove the adhesions. Luckily mine werent too bad & i had the bypass...
No not exercising much yet.
It’s more to do with the rate at which it’s coming off, I know I’m always going to have chunky thighs, which is not a bad thing for a bloke. It just seems to be coming off my top half much quicker.
Im wondering if anyone has had this issue.
I’ve now lost almost 6 stone, 4 months post op.
The fat is coming off nicely on my top half but not as quickly off my legs.
Has anyone else had this?
Does it eventually even its self out?
I’m seriously considering having surgery on my thighs as I’m...
Well done on the loss it’s coming off nicely.

I've had stalls of a few weeks at a time. Then other weeks I've lost 4lb. Try to concentrate on direction rather than the numbers. I had to stop weighing myself so often as was getting really disheartened.
Hi Jojo,
Glad you are feeling good. The none movement in the scale is very irritating, I'm at week 8 now & only lost 0.5lbs this week.
Do you drink coffee? If I have a coffee in the morning It usually gets things moving for me, 30min - 1hr later I need to go. Laxido is also a good quite...
Oh my talk about mean families
You should send them out or to another room.
My family feel guilty about eating stuff in front of me, but at 7 weeks out it doesn't bother me & im rarely hungry.
I really need to work on eating more as I'm literally having to force myself to eat.
Glad all is well.
To anyone experiencing a stall or slow down in weight loss early out. I found this interesting article which explains it a bit. Very interesting reading which make complete sense.
