Evening all time for an update. As I posted before the surgery went very well and the only thing that was bothering me on the way to theatre was not the operation but that it was going to hurt when they put the cannula in my hand !!!!!. Went to theatre about 2 o’clock and was back on the ward...

Quick update had bypass on the 17th as planned all is good and got home from derby this afternoon

I can have a meal replacement diet such as slimfast or 800 to 900 cals of normal food. I've started on slimfast today so will see how it goes. I can change from one plan to the other if I what . If I start the day on slimfast I have to complete the day on it before changing

happy new year to all. Is anyone else having surgery in January I'm going to have a bypass on 29th at derby,have started with LRD today so here's to a new me.

Well happy new year to all and a happy new start. Today is the day I start my LRD have gone down the slimfast route as it seems the most suitable for me. Have the bypass surgery on 29th of January at derby hospital so onwards and upwards.
