A daft question but needs to be asked!!

Hi I am going on holiday soon, and today is my 1 month surgiversary. It suddenly struck me, when I go through airport security will the alarn go off because of the staples in my stomachs? Anyone had any experience??

At my group education session a couple of weeks they stated that the staples don't let security alarms off.

I did wonder if someone at the hospital is reading the forum as it was the day someone asked on here.

Hello our staples are made from titanium so won't set the alarms off.. Enjoy your hols x

I posted the same question just over a week ago!
I asked the bariatric nurse when I went for a check up last week and she said that they won't set all the alarms off! lol

Wouldn't it be funny if they did though, could you imagine a special holiday just for bypassers and the chaos it would cause at the airport if everyone set the alarm off. Just my warped humour I'm afraid!! xx
