this heat is not nice when u are carrying so much weight. i hope this time next year i would have had my op. cannot go another summer like this :sigh:

I feel exactly the same. Was walking up a hill today sweating and puffing away. Thought i was gona die. The black trousers/black jumper i always wear to hide my shame didnt help matters. Ridiculous at my age! Ah well, roll on summer 2013.

i know i wore black zip up jacket to hide the arms thought i was going to die, glad i was only out for half hour. so sad i have to be a hermit xxx

LOL be careful what you wish for coz pre op I too was always far to hot. Now post op I am always sooooooooooo cold. Have to get dressed up to go to bed (always slept naked since I was 14) even bought an electric blanket of Amazon in th emiddle of the night coz was so cold! Fleeces are now my friend whereas wouldn't be seen dead in them before.
I have to have my central heating on most of the time. But was a size 30 now a size 20 & have lost 6 stones since mid January so I am just loving the weight loss & I suppose there's alway a woolie jumper hahahaha

well done on your amazing weight loss hun. and problem is i do get really cold all the time and circulation is *****. but with this heat i just feel like passing out i just want to be thin and able to wear normal tops and shorts or skirts x

Thx, I used to use an electric fan alot to cool me down & of course a cool tepid shower. you will get there. I waited about a year from gp referal to op but it's worth it. I can now buy clothes in loads more places & in fact cheaper. I am now wearing lovely fitted dresses which I would never have fitted into let alone looked nice in. Still loosing but it has slowed up not that I mind. This is hopefully for life now - my new life. Good luck.

im size 20-22 and feel about 100 stone atm. sweaty and fat with loads of stretch marks and due to pcos loads of flipping hair. bring on the year ahead cannot bloody wait to be a size 12-14 just thinking about it makes me soo happy lol xx

Just keep thinking about those size 12's & how good you will look & feel. Have you got a surgery date yet?

Hopefully not. Just be patient & do as much as you can to loose abit of weight but more importantly increase your fitness & mobility as it really helps your recovery.

When it happens NOTHING feels better than walking out into the sunshine in size 14 jeans and a tshirt,no coat and loving every moment.Not sweating,no legs rubbing together,not feeling everyone is looking at me.Just feeling normal and FREE.Walking uphill and not getting breathless.Wearing a dress and sandals.All this at 57!You guys are young so look forward to a fabulous future its great!Maz x

I'm the same! Either too hot or too cold but I like the hot weather more so I'm dreading this coldness a lot of people talk about post surgery. Keep looking forward hun, you will get there in the end x

I can't wait to b slim and have energy! I just want to sit on my fat butt at the min I've get up n go bloody depressing! Getting my sleeve on the 18th June and it's a big secret only me n ma hubby knows (he's getting it for my 30th bday) I'm soo excited about the future n buying all the pretty clothes I only dream about! Im hoping to ware a size 12/14 (hopefully) for my bday in oct. soo glad a found this form.

Doing physiotherapy with patients in this weather is no joke. One little old lady had her central heating on today aswell !!!

I can't wait to be thinner and cooler in this weather. My op can't come soon enough !!

im the same but today im not feeling very well, headache and sinus problems. so lay on sofa all day feeling very very sorry for myself.

hope all of us will be happy and free of worrying about what to wear in this heat to try deal with it. and as for the clothes shopping i cant wait

Omg I can't wait to buy clothes from normal shops. I absolutely hate Evans. The clothes are so boring. I'm short aswell, so nothing ever fits properly.
