So ive always been a frequent pee-er. As i get heavier i realise its gotten worse. Been tested flr diabetes etc and dont have it. I think its the pressure on my bladder from all the fat!

Anyone else have this or find that its improved with weight loss. So annoying!!

I will share when I had my first child I had to have a section and I was told many months afterwards when I kept dribbling that the surgeon might have touched my bladder after some tests I was told I had a twitch on my bladder and there was nothing that could be done so just live with it. Every time I had a cough or cold I would wet myself so had to wear pads no lady Tena then anyway over the years I've coped with it not been to bad. Then the weight gain, I wouldn't believe that it was a problem but it got really bad and I had to start wearing pads at night and I was getting up at least four times a night. I also had to start to take medication for what the Gp was now calling an overactive bladder. Since my surgery the twitch is still there but no where as bad as it was and I don't need pads anymore so it was all down to the weight pressing on my bladder. When I asked the Gp if there was anything I could have done all they kept saying was loose weight or well you weight doesn't help.

Oh yes I used to get up 2-3 times in the night to wee and used to go every 20 minutes when at home, luckily never had any issues with leaks, now I'e lost over 11st its rare I go to the loo at all during the night, and during the day its far far less than before

Brill thanks girls x

Did mean to say that now in losing weight I sleep all night, go before I sleep and i don't need the loo in the night unless someone has woken me up

im a serial drinker through the night and constant pee-er through the night during the day not so much !
i wonder if this will change much !
ive never really given it a thought ! xx
