Day in the sun

Had such fun in the sun with niece & nephew. Swimming in the pool, playing water polo, even ended up doing a synchronised swim routine with them - kids?!? LOL. The most touching thing was them jumping up & down, cheering & chanting Auntie Kim, Auntie Kim like I was their hero.
Feels great to be able to do all this now rather than sittingon the sidelines watching.
I forgot to put on sun cream & now rather pink

Sounds like you had a brill day
I'm just the teensiest bit jealous because I'm not going away this year because I can't fly for 6 weeks after my op

We drove down through the channel tunnel. Also Eurostar is a fab alternative to flying. But I do understand as I was a bit nervous about going away early post op. learning to eat , new way of life etc does take a bit of getting used to after the op. It's a small price to pay for this wonderful new life honestly. Maybe treat yourself to an extra special holiday next year and a new bikini!
