tech question rep power allowance a day

any mods in the house tonight ?
alot of the members here including me love our rep button, but after a while it says to much has been given out, can any mod explain how many reps a day we can dish out each on a daily basis, so they can be spread out over the day to deserving posts.

I think its so it doesnt get abused Some people were just repping each other over and over to try and get stars etc. Kinda defeats the purpose of the system that.

lol Same here, some days I need at least twice that other days I dont give any.

Totally agree. I always try to use it if I can if I see a supportive post.
