How very, very sad!! If the hospital is right & family/friends were sneaking him food into hospital they must be feeling guilt ridden at the moment.....

I read this in the paper yesterday. I was very angry at the family and friends for taking food to him, he could have survived if they hadn't done that!

I agree, really sad & a waste and I'm sure his friends & family are feeling guilty, but we don't really know the proper history behind his story so it's hard to make judgement. Plus, I think over-eating is a bit like drinking or smoking, we know it's bad but unless you really want to stop & change, nothing will change: friends & family are really caught in a catch-22 situation. xxx

He died in my local hospital, where I had my op.
So very sad.
