Can you drive after a band fill

Could anyone please tell me if after you've had a band fill are you able to drive straight afterwards and what is the normal procedure for a band fill. Thanks X

Hi Claire, as Liz says, it's fine to drive after bandfill. When I had my band filled for 2nd time, it wasn't underx-ray or anything. Basically a nurse weighed me, got me to lie on bed thing, put needle into port, withdrew what was in the band and put new saline in with a bit extra on top of it. Then I sat in waiting room drinking water and tea to ensure they went down ok. And that was that x

Did any of you drive back after the first band fill, i've got to go from Birmingham to Northamptonshire which is about 50 minutes IF you dont miss the turning and end up on the toll road lol x

Yes I drove from working in Leeds to Birmingham for my first fill, back to Coventry (25 miles) then back to Leeds (117 miles). That toll road bit is confusing isnt it!
