Dinner Out Last Night...

Every Thursday while our daughter's at Guides, Tim and I go to Wetherspoons for dinner and tonight was no exception. They are so brilliant in there. I ordered Tims fish and chips and presented them with my tin of ww soup and they were more than happy to heat it up for me and served it beautifully with a sprinkle of parsley. How great are they. So no, it's not the end to eating out and socialising. I love it, and I've not even had the op yet.

We have 2 favourite Wetherspoons and both are more than accomodating with adapting meals etc

For instance on curry nights substituting rice for something I can eat.

When I was doing my aborted pre-op diet in September my niece decided she wanted to go to McDonalds for lunch with my parents and I.

I took a cup a soup with me and asked the staff for a cup of hot water and a spoon so I could make the soup. The lady asked for the sachet and mixed it for me which was nice!

My Wetherspoons is the same,when I order a meal and need it to be just to how I want it, or I have a kiddies meal they dont mind either - Nice One Wetherspoons xx
