Does anyone know the time frame for St Richards,Chichester ? xx

I was just wondering if anyone out there has had their surgery at St Richards? ... ... if anyone could let me know how long they waited for treatment (just as a rough guide )

hiya, i had my surgery there last year.

July 2009 - funding approved
Aug 2009 - consultation
Oct 2009 - appointment with psycologist
jan 2010 - suregry date recieved
feb 2010 - pre-op appointment
1st march - start pre-op diet
13th march - surgery day

that sums up my timeline

ive just been sent a referal for st richards and ive sent back -and they have told me the term frame is 18 weeeks if you go on the website st richards website you can find the pathway and questionaire which is normally quite long xx

Hello , Thank you all for your responces , The questionaire you refer to ... is that the one with the 5 day food diary ? or is there another one ? i have already sent a questionaire off ... it gave me writers cramp ! hee hee xx

I think the general wait any NHS funded hospital initially gives you is, "within 12 months".
I'm North Tyneside and I've been told the waiting list depends on anyone with a higher BMI getting bumped further up the list. Quite demoralising really.

I am being seen at St Richards, Chichester, I put my referal in Febuary 2011 had my first assessment March 18th, I am due for Pre Op on the 28th of April and my Op date is 17th May.. I am a NHS patient.

They seem to be pretty fast to me

they definitely seem to have sped up a bit....guess it also varies a little if/when they are filming a new series of fat doctor

My time frames in my sig Claire, 18 weeks was what they were working to when I had my op but it was quicker than that!
