Help with questions for surgeon

smilergem

On my wl journey at last
Hi everyone :flirt2:
I have my first appointment with the surgeon next week, and wondered what questions other people asked theirs, as would like to go prepared with a list if possible.
I shall also be seeing the Clinical Specialist Nurse, and a Dietician, so if anyone has any ideas for questions for them also, I shall be very grateful.
I can't believe after four years of trying to get surgery, I am finally on the road. It is a fantastic feeling, and just hope the surgeon agrees that he will perform the op.
Thanks for all your help
I love this site and everyone on it, you are like my extended family :D

Hi
I went with a list for the surgeon and in all honesty they do most of the talking well in my case they did. The dieticians were also excellent and gave literature and a presentation which was great.
I think go in with an open mind is probably the best advice and listen to your surgeon as they know best.
Good luck
x

Great news about the appointment Jan - it won't be long now!

Thanks everyone, it will be a while till the op, as the waiting list is 14 weeks to the pre op after this first one, then another 12 weeks till surgery, so another 6 months at least. Never mind, been waiting for four years xx
