Not going to look good in a bikini this year!

Well this is me 11 weeks down the line! Hole in tummy is virtually healed. Just took dressing off today. What a mess! You can see where the hole was at the apex of a laparoscopic and open surgery . 2 major ops within 2 days of each other. Not going to be wearing a bikini this year! Not that I 'be ever worn one but still.........can keep dreaming!

Was going to say exactly same as Butterfly lady! My bikini days are long gone but at least I can happily wear a one piece now, rather than a skirted fat suit!

I'm sure those scars will heal quickly now too, I think it's lavender oil rubbed in helps healing and prevents scarring.

Thank you ladies. Have been using bio-oil but still looks such a mess. Gonna take a long time to fade! Nice one piece it is then!

I bought a swimming cossie "dress" a few years ago from a carboot sale it was only £1 and it was brand new, I wore it once but couldn't stand the shame of my size 24 bod wobbling about, I kept looking round waiting for Greenpeace to come along and direct me to open waters, so I stuck it on Ebay it went for almost £20!!

Bio Oil works wonders - but just think of all of the gorgeous 50's style one pieces that you can rock this year - so much more stylish than a bikini and very "in" this year.

Omg Butterfly hahaaaaa that really made me giggle! I'd feel the same, that's why I've been avoiding beaches and pools. This time next year however, I hope it will be a different story xx

Oh a one piece any day Bio oil is a must ..... blooming expensive mind, but managed to find similar in Lidls much cheaper and apears to be the same and doing same job x xx

This is why I won't be going topless either!!
