I don't like sweet things so have been having soups, stews, mash, scrambled egg, chopped tin spaghetti etc... But I'm sick of all these already - I am over 3 weeks post op so can't move onto solids yet... Any suggestions?

Hummus, meat paste, pate, cream cheese, cottage cheese?? I'm allowed (at 3 weeks) crunchy like ryvita Melba toasts, chew chew chew to mush in your mouth then swallow?? Xxx

I agree its pants after a while isn't it!
I got so fed up I moved onto fish pies/cottage pies all with extra gravy and chewed the life out of it !did have sausage and mash again well chewed ....it was lush !

no I proper cockney lass!

I'm only just under 2 weeks in and it's a nightmare I'm really chewing other foods as I'm a real fussy eater and end up with an absolute horrendous pain! When I say other foods I mean I'm over cooking veg and really chewing it up in my mouth before swallowing it. Has anyone else had this? Are we allow scrambled egg?? My post op diet doesn't include any egg at all :-( I'm really struggling with my fluid intake too. Any tips?

Thanks!

I had eggs pre and post op but eggs dont like me unless its boiled even then my guts wants itvout so ive given up on eggs now !

Oh god! What I would do for some scrambled egg! haha

Me too. I'm supposed to be on liquids for a month but I'm not gonna make it, I had sloppy mashed potatoes & gravy the other day and it was much needed.

I'm puree for a month and I can't do it I'm struggling. Can't wait to try proper food again! Fed up of having the same things all the time :-(
I would love a bite of toast lol... its crazy the things u miss isn't it? X

I'm fussy i only eat chicken and turkey lol and no fish! I'm counting down the days left on puree. I've not eaten today just milky drinks I feel sick I don't think i could stomach anything.
