Looking great!!![]()
Bmi chart is only a chart after allits all about how you feel!
i am sure you will get to that healthy bmi if you set it as a goal and work towards it. But its only for you to decide your personal goals

Btw, remind us when did you have your surgery?
I've lost 13st 5lb and I'm still 'overweight'with a BMI of 25.2. It's stupid!!
I've just used that tool Tules, it says my ideal weight based on the calculation is 155lbs...that means I've got to put on 52lbs!!!! I don't bleeding think so.....that's three and a half stone I've got to put on. That's a lot of kit Kat chunkys!!
Has anyone else done it
I looked at it but as I have no clue what my weight was at any of those given times (I was a serial scales dodger) its impossible for me to calculate
If you have lost 12st, then it's probably safe to say you have some loose skin? Hopefully not to much but I know from experience, we rarely get away with none when we have been the size we have been.
So, if you imagine you were to have a apronectomy tomorrow, how much skin do you think would be removed in terms of pounds? For me, it'll be about 7lbs.
Take that off your weight, and recalculate your bmi. I bet it is under 25.
So you have your scale weight, and your "seasonly adjusted" weight (to use the old government phrase for fiddling the unemployment figures). Is it really fair to include loose skin in the bmi calc? I don't think so.
What I'm saying is that you are under 25 on the bmi already. You are effectively standing on the scales with stuff in your pockets![]()
Hope you can drop that pound quickly so you can celebrate
I've set my target at 13st which is over 26 on the bmi. I will lose more than that, but 13st feels right for a bloke my build. It did bother me that I wouldn't be a "healthy" weight at one point but not now. I've been over 47on the bmi so it's all relative to me.
I decided that the bmi wouldn't decide for me when I was happy. I wish I could do the same for the scales!
