Currently convalescing at a seaside hotel provided by the union I'm a member of prior to returning to work shortly . Thought I'd share some of my NSV's.

Despite being full board the catering staff have been superb providing 1/2 portions and omitting / replacing food items.

Given the range of food intolerances developed post op been able to reintroduce some of these foods.

Have been walking along the pier , into town centre 2-3 times a day which six months ago would have been unheard of. My pedometer is a new BFF.

Really enjoying wearing all my new / recycled clothing in smaller sizes.

Oh also met a fellow guest who's considering WLS and been discussing at length the pros/ cons.

Won't know until return home next Tuesday if any of the hard work has paid off.

Really pleased . The walking paid off and lost 5lbs.

Sounds perfect xx

When you say 'walking along the pier', if that's Southend you'll be like a stick before you know it!!

Thanks everyone. Stayed in Eastbourne but also visited Brighton and Hastings which also have piers. All coincided with the warmer weather which made the walks more enjoyable.
