Apart from using an add on like Adblock, is there anything else i can do to stop adverts (on Minimins and other sites) from ruining my browsing? In the last few days, i have not been able to use the net properly, and its the same on all of my pc's. It's driving me nuts. I havent downloaded anything new (I dont think), i dont have a virus according to AVG, i dont have spywear according to Virgin PC guard, so there doesnt seem to be any problems. Virgin media says everything is fine at their end.
PLEASE can someone help me, i am tearing my hair out.
The adblocker works, but you have to find the advert first, before you can add it to the banned list, not that easy when even the advert doesnt load.
Please help.
