I like to hope that when we don't hear from post-ops after a while that all is well with them and they have adapted to their new lives. I know the delectable Deebol doesn't come on here so often now because she has adapted and visits every-so-often.
Because I am a forgetful biddy of late, I can't remember where Alia was up to. - Update - I just found an old thread that Sam started re: Alia here where she was post-op and getting on with it.
I do hope that if she is need of support, she will come back because this is the best place for it.
