It's the same attitude that pops up after any negative news story (paper or TV) about bariatric surgery -- especially like this one yesterday about an unemployed person "demanding" a bypass:

Yes, you see this attitude a lot in the online newspapers. People are much more likely to say how they really feel in the online world. Just shows how much prejudice there really is against the obese.
