Purchased a 5' punchbag at the weekend. Placing it on the outside wall and intend to go to war on it after my warm up and stretches.;)

Thing is, I have enough muscle mass already and don't wish to add any more if poss. All I want this workout to do is cardiovascular/ build staminar and at the same time shed some pounds.

Any other bag punchers out there? Tips?
 
Woo. Taking things slowly, but it does take it out of you. Beneficial for those with the burden of stress...
 
My future son-in-law has a boxing punchbag and speedball set up in his garage. I'm going to go round there as soon as I'm fit enough after my op and spend at least a few hours a week punching the weight off!
 
Sounds good to me. Did a few 'rounds' on mine this morning. Now have aggrivated my left wrist - may becoming arthritic. Serves me right I suppose. Steady as you go...
