Fit flops? Fit or Flop ?

Fit flops....

According to the promotional materials these fit-flops will magically tone me into a long legged, buff bottomed goddess....

A few hours into the experience and so far, there's no sign of a perfect bum emerging (I have checked).... they feel comfy but bit sore between the toes...

Anyone else wear them? MBTs? Worth the money or a load of hype?

Hugs

i dont see whats so special about them ? do they have lead weights in the bottom ?

have to say they look comfy, but id prob only wear them round the house as we dont have much good weather to wear them to make a difference.

£35 quid in one store near me ,,,, hmmm

BTW I love your goals , thank god you put the windsurfing as I would have had a mind wander lol, Im that way out today lol.

I'd love a pair of MBTs, but they are sooooo expensive :( hopelesscase wears fitflops and swears by them :)

Hi

I have fit flops, they are uncomfortable around the toes for a bit but that soon goes. I wear mine to work and at weekends, on dog walks etc.

I have had them for just over a month and gradually built up the time wearing them. I have also started to do a lot of exercise too so cant be sure if the toning up of my legs is from one - the other or both.

Mine were half price at the gym I go to as well so didnt begrudge paying that for them.

Hope you get on with them!

I tried to get some magic Sketchers trainers which apparantly do the same thing. So far though have not found anywhere that sells them. Couldn't cope with all of the flipping and flopping, etc of flip-flops. Glad they work for some people x

I can testify that Hopelesscase wears her fit flops all the time and she has great legs, not nearly as much loose skin in the thigh/butt area as I have so I am treating myself to a pair next week as a birthday pressie.

Nic:D

5 hours into day 1 of fit flop ... and still no sign of that perfect arse...

But I do have blisters on the inside of my second toe.. had to stop in superdrug and get some kind of rub-on blister waxy thing ...

Perhaps you lose weight and tone up becuase you are too broke to buy food?

I've bought 3 pairs - - in silver, gold and bronze. This Isays to me 1) probably having a mid life crisis and 2) don't do on-line shopping after a glass of wine

Love th MBT black boots - tamba think they are called. Just need to lose a few inches off my feet to wedge them in.

Whats an MTB? Ive only heard of fit flops from Hopelesscase and as its been said before she swear by them. Im going to have a nosey on ebay to see how much they are but Ive never heard of MTB's?! x

MBT's make your posture correct when you walk........ lots of people swear by them, though my thoughts are that the old saying "no gain without pain" comes to mind, if you want the arse of a Goddess and legs that go on for ever, then get in the gym and work out, get out and do some power walking, running, cycling and swimming.

One other thing - they are not the hieght of fashion - like i told my wife a while back, i ain't gone through this sh*t to wear crap clothes or shoes that look like Frankenstien cast of's

My friend bought some of the flip flops a couple of weeks ago and she says they are really comfortable. She got them in the sale from Jones. I think she paid just under £40.

Its true - she wants me to buy clothes in Asda and picked up at shirt in Tesco's last week - i've been forced to wear baggy shapeless clothes all my life

Getting to the gym, cycling, powerwalking etc is fine if you have A the mobility and b,the time but when you have a disabled child 24/7 its not always possiable and you have to look at otherways of exercising. I initially got my MBT trainers 4 years ago as i was having problems with my foot and inspite of specialist insoles it wasnt getting any easier. The orthotics man surgested i try MBT's as the way they make yr foot strike the floor and make contact with the whole of yr foot instead of heel toe contact he thought would be an advantage to me. Yes they are not the most attractive of things but my god they did the trick. It took about 6 months for the pain in my foot to subside but in the mean time i noticed that my legs felt a lot firmer instead of the jelly mass that they were.
Early last year he also told me about fit flops he had done some of the reserch on them along with the physios at salfor uni and all the documented evidence looked really good. i got my first pair in jan last year at this time i was really struggling with my back and shoulder after dislocating it and the physio i was under noticed that my posture improved over a few weeks of wearing them i have worn them or my MBS's ever since. On the rare occasion i do wear regular boots or shoes i find that my foot pain returns in a short time and i end up hobbling around even now and 10 stone lighter.
The tops of my legs used to look like a mashed up jelly that wobbled and wibbled all over the place. I wouldnt go to the poolside without a towel wrapped around me. These days in spite of my excess skin im quite happy to show my legs off and was before i lost my weight because they were toned. so yes i am an advocate for them but they do need to be worn on a regular basis.
hope that helps

Hopeless it's so nice to hear the voice of experience.....I've been wanting to get them for a little while, but I too work and also have a disabled son and daughter so getting to the gym would be a luxury (aaaaaaaaa bliss.....me time!), so for my wobbly pre-op arris these could be the thing. Would you recommend a size up or your usual size, remember I am pre-op so still have wide feet lol

Love my fit flops. Walked for 3 hours in the up and down hills the other sunday and my arse cheeks knew about it the next day!!! (even more than after a body pump class ;))

Each to their own though

xx

They are meant to fit snugly but dont tend to giv with wearing so you are best to try them and see what feels comfy.
