omg the news has said un-necessary ops have been cancelled due to needing bedds etc for accidents in the snow i really feel all these ops could go ahead u know,we get a bit of snow and our country go madand panick wat about other countries that get ecery year they cope fine...

Yes but as you say, they get it every year so they are used to dealing with it, we dont and we arent.
Its still horrid that the ops arent being cancelled though.

Well, my friend took her dad to have a day surgical procedure done yesterday, and she was told the same thing.. so i think it may be nationwide, due to staff unable to attend work.. 'No staff, No Surgery'.. x
 
Just spoke to 2 the Whittington and that is not the case there when it comes to Bariatric surgery so hopefully that is not the case nationwide xx

Where are u having ur surgery is it the Hommerton and what have they said bout ur op xx

Worcester
Preston
Luton
Northants
SOuth Manchester

So I would say its pretty nationwide, Good Luck Sarah hope yours does not get cancelled, Nor anyone elses for that matter.

I got an email from my surgeons secretary which says fingers crossed it goes ahead on monday and we dont get more bad weather so fingers are tightly crossed.x

Unfortunately our country cannot cope with bad weather. Each year its the same story, public transport comes to a standstill, we run out of salt/grit for the roads...

I hope nobody gets their operations cancelled its hard enough when you wait a long time for this operation without the worry of a bit of white fluffy stuff spoiling it!
 
luton & dunstable are cancelling there op's.
got my phone call yesterday, when i phoned today for another date they couldn't give me one as they are still phoning people to cancell, but they did tell me it could be sometime after feb.
did the bloody milk diet over xmas and new year aswell.

sue i didnt know! im sorry hun!and few seems ages away but it will be here soon enough.. dont get disheartend they say everything happens for a reason! know that sounds pants but gota try and be positive eh? xx
