HORRIFIED twice in one magazine!!!!!

:eek:I have just bought this week's Heat and Closer for my daughter (her gossip and style bibles)!!! and in this weeks Closer there are two stories that i am speechless!!!

The first story is about a 29 yr old woman who loves to pretend she is disabled by faking she is an amputee!!!!!! she said she loves the attention she gets:eek: - i don't know who is worse the magazine for printing this story or the girl for being totally sick. Am i getting old or is that society is just getting sicker??????

The second story is about a 46st Squasher:eek: i've never heard of this again what is wrong with the world. This woman makes £95 thousand pounds a year for squashing people!!!!!!! Why?????? I've heard of 'pile on' but this is just ridiculous.

As i said minis "What is the world coming too?????"

OMG. Like you say who is worse the people or the magazine for printing such stories. Surely this really isn't what people want to read, is it?

I am as shocked as you are!!
 
Ugh! That's gross. I was quite upset when I visited the Taj Mahal - just around the perimeter there are loads of people pretending to be lepers and begging but somehow, with poverty being so rife there, you can understand that it helps them get money. These people in the magazine are just beyond belief. Why doesn't the stupid girl just have her leg cut off and be done with it! I bet she wouldn't find it quite so amusing. I think they both need some of your fairy dust, Topsy, to help heal their minds. Zxx
 
I saw the fake amputee article mentioned on the front cover, and mainly for that reason didn't buy the magazine this week! What an awful thing to do!!!

i said this to someone the other day ( on another subject) but there are some scarey people out there!!

ps my 5 year old was trying to walk around with her eyes closed hte other day pretended to be blind and my 9 year old told her off for bieung rude about blind people-made me kinda proud
 
I dont think theres anything shocking about "squashing".. i think that whatever fetish people have is fine and shouldnt be frowned upon..
faking being an amputee is harsh like..

I watched one of those American A&E programmes recently and there was a man on there that had been admitted after chopping his own hand off. It turned out that his fetish was amputees so wanted to be one of them....madness!!!! :eek:

Its me again . I was going into Tesco's a few years ago and the was an Eastern European Man sitting in a wheelchair begging I just went past him . When I came out and waiting for a taxi he got out of the wheelchair and started to push it walking normal the only thing I could do was laugh. If the is any men out there that needs squashing and paying that kind of money I`m here ha ha

Oh God Marion i did laugh when you said why doesn't the girl have her leg off and be done with it lol I know there are some stupid people in this world but i'm sorry i just don't see the appeal myself and i wouldn't waste my fairy dust on them lol
 
Well it's official i am old - never heard of squashing the only things i squash are flys, wasps and ants!!!! do i have a bug fetish?????lol

I never read the bits on the front of magazines tend to just notice pictures!!!

I must be odd lol but I'm of the live and let live school of thought. They aren't doing any harm so let them get on with it. So long as the amputee one isn't trying to use disabled facilities/benefits etc she's not hurting anyone. I've heard of squashing before, and if men are daft enough to want to pay for it, then good on her for making a career out of it.

Thats the point though.. the disabled space shes taking up could potentially be stopped someone who actually is disabled getting in it.. as well as other "perks" she must get.. im all for live n let live when it isnt detrimental to others..

I've read the article, and it doesn't say that she uses disabled spaces or facilities etc. She has her own wheelchair and crutches which she bought, and does this once every 3-4 months. It doesn't mention any perks, she does it for the attention.

I'm disabled myself, and I'm not offended by it.
 
No Shel being disabled too i'm not offended but my god i want to be healthy like her and she was attention by pretending ?????? No she isn't taking any disabled perks or anything i just think strange why to get your kicks.

Also yes Liz we all could have made a fortune squashing men lol

It takes all sorts to make this world and i should not really be surprised by what people get up to - but i am
