:sign0144: Have just stumbled across this site & joined up straight away.

I had a Gastric Bypass on the 1st September & happily 'getting on with it' & losing weight. :party0011:

I'm slowly making my way round the site & jumping in where I can (apologies if I go wrong somewhere!)

Look forward to 'meeting' you all :grouphugg:

Having had a look round, it IS a pleasure to be here! Hi there! I had mine last week almost exactly a week ago! Went into theater for the op at 10:30am on the 9th!

I dont have much pain anymore which is good and i am eating just the right amount i think!

Hi Penny
Just to say welcome to the site and look forward to hearing more about your weight loss journey xx

MAny tjanx for your welcomes! It's lovely to hear from you. Emma, I had my surgery at Ipswich Hospital with Mr Sinclair, also open surgery - it is the only option he offers! I'm not too sore but have the odd twinge (there's a lot of healing going on I guess!)

As for the hunger, no I think I am doing ok - though I sometimes THINK I am hungry if that makes sense?! As for the foods I am having, I am keeping a note of them every day.

Hey, don't know how you feel about it or if it's allowed here but maybe we can become 'buddies' & share our daily journey. What do you think, would you like to (no worries if not, just thought it would be interesting to compare). Not sure how you pm or do one-to-one stuff here but are you up for it?

Thanx again everyone
