I felt exactly the same Jane. It's not a nice feeling. I'm now 6 weeks post op (sleeve) I wdnt say I have an increase in energy as such but as the weight comes of it makes u want to move more! I was 15.2 and this morning I was 12.12 xxx
I've buzzed more or less from mid pre-op onwards.....adrenaline followed by weight loss have all equalled a new lively me. I used to get in from work, eat, fall on the bed, watch tv, eat some more n sleep by 8, and I've been like that all my life. Now I see 11pm....all very bizarre!!
You will definitely have more energy. I'm still over 21st but what I've lost so far has already increased my energy loads. I can do so much more than I could before the surgery and I know it's only the beginning. It's not usually over night, took me about 7/8 weeks to feel a difference/better, it may be longer for you or shorter but it will happen when the weight starts coming off x
I am 8 weeks or so post op and dont really feel any different. I have only lost 1 stone since my band, and lost another stone before the band. Im not having a great time with my band to be honest with you! but i hope yours goes well x
I am 4 weeks post op on Saturday and I cannot honestly say I feel a massive difference in engery but a slight one yes. Being on the pre op diet does make you very tired though I had zero energy on that. Once I had the op and had a drink of apple juice I was so relieved! Energy once more!! After no carb diet!
hiya, no im made up with the loss its because I'm having problems with my port at the minute Theres something wrong with it and dont find out till next week, hoping I havent got to get another operation because I cant afford it xx
