Where did you leave your i phone whilst having your op

hahahha good question! this to has gone thorugh my mind, dont you normally get little lockable lockers? or have you anyone going with you you can give it to them? xx

give it to a family member or hide it in a towel or something in your bag under your bed!

ill take laptop me - ill sneak it in! lol

I am giggling at the thought of handing my over half my handbag and him carrying it around the hospital whilst waiting for my op to end.....

Im going in the day before, my hubby wont be able to come till visiting hours..

That means the 1st day without my phone OMFG how am i going to cope LOL

I left mine in my locker. It's a Blackberry! But I'm sure you could ask the nurses to lock your phone away. Ask when you're admitted to be sure. xxx

I am going to hide mine. My mum is dropping me at the hospital door on Wednesday afternoon and then DH will be able to come on the night time of the op, but thats it! I will go MAD on the pre-op night without my phone if only for the games altho a bit worried it will need charging :D

I didn't take my iPhone as I'd have been gutted if I lost it, and my hospital had a phone/tv installed for each bed. I did take my iPod classic in though, and I just left it in the bottom of the weekend bag I had brought with me, which was locked away for me by one of the lovely nurses.

Donna don't bank on going in the day before your op as 9 out of 10 of us had to go in the morning of the op, as for your iphone I took mine with me and the nurse even plugged it in for me to recharge it :)
If you go in the day before hide it in your bag in the cupboard somewhere but remember you wont be able to get out of bed or turn over to reach it again after :) if you go in the on the day of the op you leave your bag in the waiting room and they take it to ward 11 for you but again I just hid it in my bag. I couldn't live without my phone, there was no way i was going to leave it behind but to be honest i didn't use it as after the op your to tired and the day after they get you up, showered etc and I just didn't really feel like using it and I was to busy chatting to the lady next to me :)
